Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival Cairo

Welcome to Egypt The land of The Pharaohs!!! Arrive at Cairo airport, Your Allover Egypt representative will pick you up from the airport and then will drive you safely to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2:
Giza Pyramids & The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

Breakfast. Start your full-day tour with The Giza pyramids complex, also called the Giza necropolis, The Giza Pyramids, built to endure an eternity, have done just that.
Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx of Giza It features a lion’s body and a human head adorned with a royal headdress.
The tour also includes a visit to Khafre’s Valley Temple, The Valley Temple of Khafre at Giza was built with huge limestone stones, and its walls were covered with blocks of polished red-pink granite.
The second part of your tour will be The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, It presents the full range of the richness and diversity of Egyptian civilization throughout the ages, from prehistoric times to the present day by focusing on its continuity and stability as demonstrated by its tangible and intangible heritage.
Considered the crown jewel of the museum, the Royal Mummies’ Hall is specially designed to display the mummies of the ancient Kings and Queens of Egypt. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3:
Day Trip to Alexandria

Breakfast. Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour to Alexandria. Start the tour with the library of Alexandria; the biggest library in the world – now with 8 million books. Visit its open court and free museums.
Then visit the Site of the Lighthouse; one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World on which now stands the castle of Qaitbey. Visit the royal gardens of King Farouk (the last king in the history of Egypt) and see the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek as well as the royal beaches of the queens. Continue your tour by visiting the prettiest and biggest mosque in the city: the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, as well as the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria and the statue of Alexander the Great.

You can then stop for optional lunch before visiting the church of St. Mark – the oldest church in Africa before driving along the Cornish (30 km) to see the whole city of Alexandria from the seaside which includes the old harbor of Alexandria where we found 7000 monuments underwater.

Day 4:
The Egyptian Museum & Islamic Cairo

Breakfast. Start your full-day tours with the Mosque of Muhammed Ali: also known as the Alabaster Mosque for the material which covers it, this enormous 19th-century place of worship was inspired by Istanbul’s New Mosque.
The move to visit The Citadel: originally constructed in the 12th century to protect the city from attacking Crusaders, the hilltop Saladin Citadel offers some of the most spectacular views over the surrounding city.
The second part of your tour will be at The Egyptian Museum. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo (EMC) is the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East, housing over 170,000 artifacts. It has the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 5:
Luxor East bank tour

Breakfast, then you will be transferred to Cairo international airport to take your flight to Luxor.
Start your tour by visiting the Luxor temple which was built by one of the kings of the 12th dynasty and completed by the well know king Ramses II. This temple was located in the heart of ancient Thebes and, like Karnak, was dedicated to the main/chief god Amun Re.
Later on, head out to Karnak Temples Complex, this temple was built by various Pharaohs during different ages. You will see the Avenue of Sphinxes of the Hypostyle Hall, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tuthmosis the temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarabeus of Amenophis III ,and the Sacred Lake. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 6:
Luxor West Bank

Breakfast. Start your tour visiting the Fascinating valley of the kings which includes more than 63 majestic tombs and chambers of some well-known Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs, Then, head out to The amazing Temple of Queen Hatshepsut widely considered one of the “incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt” located beneath the cliffs at Deir el Bahari. The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.
Overnight in Luxor.

Day 7:
Trip to Dendera & Abydos Temples

Breakfast. Start your full-day tour with Abydos, The Temple of Seti I at Abydos is the main highlight of a trip here. Built of limestone and laid out on three levels.
Abydos is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in Egypt, the sacred city of Abydos was the site of many ancient temples, including Umm el-Qa’ab, a royal necropolis where early pharaohs were entombed.
The next stop will be Dendera to visit the Temple of Hathor, goddess of love and joy. The temple is located in Dendera which is situated north of Luxor. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 8:
Aswan tour

Breakfast. Transfer by AC car to Aswan.
Start your tour with Philae – Temple of Isis, the Temple of Isis at Philae is dedicated to Isis, Osiris, and Horus. The temple walls contain scenes from Egyptian mythology of Isis bringing Osiris back to life, giving birth to Horus, and mummifying Osiris after his death.
Then move to visit the High Dam, the Aswan High Dam, which is one of the world’s largest embankment dams, which was built across the Nile in Aswan, Egypt, between 1960 and 1970.
Finish your tour with the Unfinished Obelisk, the Unfinished Obelisk is a granite would-be monument that was never finished. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 9:
Abu Simbel Trip from Aswan

Breakfast. Dive to visit the two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, which is considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom.
The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to cooperate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramses II.
The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called the Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramses II, and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God together as one. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 10:
Aswan / Cairo Free Day

Breakfast, Transfer to the airport to take your flight to Cairo.
(Optional): Food Tour to try our Egyptian traditional food.
Overnight in Cairo.

Day 11:
Old Coptic Cairo

Breakfast. Start getting your kicks to Coptic Cairo. Start your tour with The Hanging Church. It got the name of ‘Hanging Church’ (or ‘Suspended Church’ in Arabic, ‘El Moallaqa’) because of its location above the fortress gatehouse.
Then move to visit St Virgin Mary church, St Virgin Mary church is the oldest church in Egypt. It was built to honor the mother of Jesus.
The Church of St. George is a Greek Orthodox church within the Babylon Fortress in Coptic Cairo.
Later on, visit Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church (Abu Serga). The Abu Serga church is believed to be not only the oldest church in Egypt, but built on the spot where the Holy Family stopped and rested towards the end of their journey to Egypt.
After that you will visit Ben Ezra Synagogue, the synagogue went through a series of renovations over the centuries, with the current structure dating back to 1892.
The last stop will be the Coptic Museum, The Coptic Museum houses the largest collection of Coptic artifacts in the world and was inaugurated in 1910. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 12:
Departure

It’s time to close the curtain on your epic adventure across Egypt. You’ll say a fond farewell to new friends as you prepare for your return journey home. Our representative will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast and will transfer you to Cairo international airport to take your flight back home.
